Robert J. Le Roy poster award in Chemical Physics: it was established by the organizers of SCP in 2019 to celebrate the life and accomplishments, and to honour the memory of our dear friend and mentor Robert J. Le Roy. The best poster, presented by a student/postdoc at SCP, will receive the Robert J. Le Roy poster award ($500).
CONTRIBUTED PAPERS
In addition to the invited talks, the program of the meeting will include contributed papers, 15 of which will be able to be presented orally, with a time slot of 12 minutes plus 3 minutes for discussion. However, most will be presented at a poster session, to be held on the Saturday afternoon in a relaxed atmosphere with appropriate refreshments available. The space for each poster consists of one panel 4' wide and 4' high, on a 2' stand.
Contributed papers should be submitted in the form of a title. All authors with their status as (F) = faculty member/senior scientist, (P) = postdoc or (S) = student and their affiliations should be listed. The author presenting the paper should be identified by a star (*). In the case of a poster contribution with multiple authors being registered (attending the conference), only the author presenting should submit the contribution as such. This avoids repetitions and simplifies the preparation of our Symposium program.
The DEADLINE for the Submission of contributions is FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 26 for requests for oral presentations, and FRIDAY OCTOBER 31 for poster papers presentations. To submit a paper title, simply fill out the corresponding field during online registration. You can update your registration information anytime.
Oral presentation requests: Please note that due to the large number of requests for oral presentations a selection will be done and contributors informed about the decision a week in advance to the meeting. Papers that are not selected for oral presentations will be automatically transferred to the poster session.
